Quilt Day was March 15 and the Quilters in SL came out IN STYLE to celebrate! I decided to host 3 events so more quilters could make it. I hosted all 3 groups at Aurifiland. Thanks so much for joining me everyone!
In the morning we had Cotone babe, Aurifil Himmel, Rhonda McCullough, and Monkicat Giha
The Afternoon group was Calnia Westland, Donna Panhandle, Kymsara Rayna, Andie Honi, Sparkie Carver , Zaphron Westland, JAC Raymaker, and MariannaTCP Mills
The sewing machine room is so adorable. We hope to host workshops there someday! all the fabric is fabric I designed in RL.
And we visited Marianna’s HUGE studio… here we are hanging out on the porch
The Evening group was Harris Emmons, Kitiara Tomsen, Rianna Flanagan, Mayli Nirpaw, Rhonda McCullough(who was able to join us again). We are in my studio at Aurifland
Alex, our Aurifil host, was at a trade show in Paris.. yes… THE Paris. So was Marianna. Alex could not get on from the hotel, but Marianna made it since she went home.
We had GREAT giveaways! Alex is giving away a REAL box of Aurifil thread. Get yourself over to the site and put a notecard in the GREEN box near the landing zone. He is still accepting cards.
Kymsara Rayna and Andie Honi Designed this AWESOME Amish totebag for us as a gift. They do custom work. So IM Andie Honi for pricing. She can make whatever you like with any image you like. She showed us several amazing bags. Fantastic for promotions, shop bags, baby showers and wedding gifts! We have very talented gals in Quilters in SL!
And did you note the cool sunglasses? My friend Tenshi gave a me a box of them to giveaway as door prizes! We had such a FABULOUS time with them. Visit Tenshi’s ‘Crap’ store at cotton candy mall.
